During 2008/9 GPS Ltd were contracted to construct eight soundproof precast studios for BskyB in Brentford, Middlesex under Bovis Lend Lease.

​

This project involved the installation of prestressed wall and flooring panels as well as remedial soundproofing works. As the resultant structure was to become Television studios, GPS ltd were brought on board due to the high standard required by the client.

The final structure had to undergo various acoustic tests by soundproof engineers to ensure no faults arose in the structure. With this in mind GPS Ltd established a dedicated quality control team, completely separate from the installation teams to ensure all works carried out were flawless before handover to the client.

Through an ongoing and stringent self assessment system GPS ltd were able to ensure that the structure was completed ahead of schedule to an exceptionally high standard. Resulting in a further contract for other concrete remedial work to be awarded to GPS Ltd upon completion.
